OF THE MONTH

Each month we feature 5 members of the network.  They are in no special order, but we'll try to give a variety of types of businesses some exposure here.  When you contact them please mention that you saw them here :-)

Eagle Peak Herbals and Eagle Peak Wildlife Care,
For 14 years, Eagle Peak Herbals has been providing premium organic Plant Medicines to health care practitioners, doctors, and veterinarians as well as to those individuals who wish to take more responsibility for their own or their pet’s health. We grow many herbs in our organic gardens and also wild-harvest on our pristine high elevation land within a federal Wilderness Area. We also purchase herbs from other quality organic growers and ethical wildcrafters. Our products are handmade during peak potency using time honored extraction methods. We practice ‘whole plant medicine’ and believe in high herbal standards, not standardized herbs. We have a full line of formulas, single extracts, oils, salves, and poultices for both humans and animals. Custom formulation and consultations available.  The proceeds from these herbal products help support injured and orphaned wildlife at our rescue and rehabilitation center, Eagle Peak Wildlife Care. Tina, Eagle Peak’s formulator, is the only certified Rehabilitationist in this remote corner of NE California. Tina and Bill also do educational programs along with a gorgeous Northern Goshawk and a Short-eared owl.

Gabrielle Acres Farm
Gabrielle Acres is owned by a husband and wife team in South Louisiana, and is the name of their small state certified herb nursery. They grow herbs, butterfly plants and some native plants using organic practices.
The love of  nature, herbal studies and soapmaking have been the inspiration for their bath and body products, using their organically grown herbs in herbal infusions, distillations and dried, along with the finest vegetable oils and butters, often organic. Unique recipes are formulated to make the finest soaps, balms and salves possible.  Each soap recipe is unique and handmade using the cold process method, curing for at least four weeks to ensure a quality product which is rich, creamy and mild.
No artificial colors or fragrances are ever used. Many of Gabrielle Acres products are made using certified organic materials with the goal to offer even more organic products.
