Jane Kuitems

Jane KuitemsJane Kuitems grew up on a dairy and maple farm near Gouverneur, New York.  Her mother and both grandmothers were avid gardeners.  She has always loved the earth. Jane began to garden soon after college graduation.  She says:

" I soon became addicted because gardening nourishes my spirit. Gardening allows me to indulge in another of my passions - history. Plants have been an integral part of mankind's life even before the age of the 'iceman'.  As a gardener I am steward not only of the earth but of this heritage."

Jane's Herb Farm was a logical extension of Jane's passion for plants. The farm features beautiful display gardens, classes and tours and an extensive variety of plants. Jane enjoys helping others create their ideal garden. She has taught and lectured about herbs and perennials since 1981
