| Jim Long is a frequent speaker at flower and garden shows,
national conferences and herb association events. He has written
the Down to Earth column for The Herb Companion magazine for the
past 11 years, has written 19 books including 3 for Storey
Publishing, and writes a syndicated gardening newspaper column.
He also writes freelance for a variety of other national
publications.
Jim is a member of the Garden Writers Assoc. of America, the
Author’s League and the Herb Society of America. He has
appeared on 12 HGTV programs and several Discovery channel
programs. He has given programs for Disney’s Epcot Gardenfest,
for many State Master Gardener’s conferences, for the Seattle,
Atlanta, Little Rock, Providence, West Palm Beach and other
flower and garden shows, as well as many other organizations.
